This policy explains how haas-platform.com, run by HaaS Platform (“we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, do the same job: they let a site remember something between visits. They can be set by the site you are visiting or by third parties whose content the site loads.

What we use

Fonts and images are served from our own servers, and the website does not load advertising or social media trackers. Until you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice, no third party receives your data when you open a page.

Always stored

One item in your browser’s local storage, needed to remember your answer:

• haas-cookies — your choice in the cookie notice (“accepted” or “declined”), so that we do not ask again. It stays on your device until you clear the site data and is not sent to our servers.

Analytics, only if you accept

If you choose “Accept”, we load two analytics services that show us how many people visit the site, where they come from and how they use the pages. If you choose “Decline”, neither is loaded and none of the cookies below is set.

Google Analytics, provided by Google, sets cookies on our domain:

• _ga — distinguishes visitors; 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> — keeps the state of your session; 2 years.

Yandex Metrica, provided by Yandex, including its Session Replay feature: it records mouse movements, scrolling and clicks so that we can see where a page is hard to use. What you type into form fields is masked and is not recorded. It sets cookies on our domain:

• _ym_uid, _ym_fa — identify visitors; 1 year.
• _ym_d — the date of your first visit; 1 year.
• _ym_isad — whether an ad blocker is in use; 20 hours.
• _ym_visorc — lets Session Replay work; 30 minutes.
• _ym_metrika_enabled — checks that the other cookies are set correctly; 60 minutes.

Yandex also sets cookies on its own domains — yandexuid, yuidss, i, ymex, usst (1 year), yabs-sid (browser session), is_gdpr, is_gdpr_b (up to 2 years) — and keeps several service entries whose names begin with “_ym” in your browser’s local storage.

If we add other cookies, we will list them here with their purpose and lifetime before we start using them.

How to control cookies

To change your choice, clear the site data for this website in your browser settings: this removes the analytics cookies, and the notice will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working.

Google and Yandex each offer a browser add-on that switches their analytics off on every website: Google Analytics opt-out and Yandex Metrica opt-out.
