Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information HaaS Platform (“HaaS”, “we”, “us”) collects through haas-platform.com, how we use it and what choices you have. It covers this website and the requests you send us through it.

Information we collect

• Details you send us. When you ask for a call or a rundown on your role, we receive the contact channel you choose, the contact you enter (for example a phone number, messenger username, profile link or email address) and what you tell us about the hire: role, level, skills, budget, location, start date and your message.
• Job descriptions. If you paste a job description into the calculator, the text is sent to our server and to our AI provider so the form can be filled in for you. We do not keep the text after it has been processed. Please do not include personal information in it.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our servers receive your IP address, browser type and the time of each request. We use this to keep the site running and to limit abuse.
• Analytics data, only if you accept cookies. Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica receive your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you open, where you came from, and your clicks and scrolling. Yandex Metrica also records sessions on the site; what you type into form fields is masked and is not recorded.
• Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the messages and the address you wrote from.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not buy personal information about visitors. Analytics is switched on only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice; our Cookie Policy lists what is stored in your browser.

How we use it

• to reply to your request and prepare a proposal for your role;
• to provide our services if we start working together;
• to operate, secure and improve the website, including measuring how it is used;
• to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your request to take steps before entering into a contract, on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping the site secure, on your consent where we ask for it (analytics cookies), and on legal obligations that apply to us.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that process information on our behalf: hosting, the messaging tool our team uses to receive requests (Telegram) the AI provider that reads pasted job descriptions (OpenAI) and, if you accept cookies, the analytics providers Google (Google Analytics) and Yandex (Yandex Metrica).
• Authorities, when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect our rights.
• A successor, if our business is merged, acquired or reorganized.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and contact details for up to 12 months after you send them and then delete them, unless we are working together or the law requires us to keep them longer. Backup copies are removed within a further 7 days. Analytics cookies stay in your browser for up to 2 years unless you delete them earlier.

International transfers

We work with clients and providers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States and, for Yandex Metrica, in Russia. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, to withdraw your consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, correct and delete their personal information and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To use any of these rights, write to hello@haas-platform.com. We reply within 30 days.

Security

We limit access to personal information to the people who need it and protect it with technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is meant for businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
